I wanted to share some data with you about the Buderus boiler we installed last December. Despite being a relatively cold winter, it was clear we were using less gas. And, once the heating season was over, I was amazed at how very little gas we were using to keep the hot water tank going. We just got our latest bill from NJ Natural Gas, and our budget payment has gone from $264 per month to $180 per month – a projected savings of about 32%. And, when you factor in that we haven’t paid ANYTHING for 2 months because we had such a large credit balance, the annualized savings looks something more like about 42%. Bottom line, we’re really seeing the 35% to 40% savings you projected we would.
We’re really pleased with how quiet and clean, and especially how efficiently, the unit is operating. All that, and of course eliminating the CO spill-back we were experiencing once and for all.
On behalf of my wife and myself I wish to thank you for your recommendation and installation our Energy Kinetic System 2000 heating and hot water system. Prior to this, our beautiful home was a winter nightmare. Anytime it fell below 20 degrees F. many of the rooms fell to 55 degrees F. with the furnace running full blast. Just to get by we had to seal most of our windows with plastic and run upwards of five electric room heaters. After almost ten years of this torment I contacted you and asked for your advice. You performed a thorough, professional evaluation and recommended the Energy Kinetic System along with some general insulation changes. The work was completed on time in a completely professional manner. Besides being superbly competent, Roger and the crew were courteous and accommodating. The end result has been wonderful. We have just ended our first week of very low winter temperatures and we have experienced a home that is evenly heated and all six zones remain exactly at the thermostat settings. It is a new experience for us and we are thoroughly enjoying it.

For many years now St. Lawrence has relied on Reissmann Plumbing for our plumbing repair, installation and general preventive maintenance needs in the Church, the Parish Center and in our priest’s residence home on the property. On the occasions that we have experienced an urgent plumbing or well problem or planned work, your staff has been exceptionally attentive and responsive to our needs, our latest plumbing problem on Saturday. December 10, was another “emergency” that you personally, and your on-call repairman, Mike, handled in expeditious fashion.
Having a failed residential hot water heater spewing water all over the Rectory basement at 2 pm was not something one needed to deal with during a busy weekend filled with pre-Christmas party festivities, our normal weekend Mass schedule, musical concerts and celebrations honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe. But after notifying you about the situation and having a new replacement hot water heater installed within 2 hours, Father Corona and 1 avoided dealing with a dire living condition on a very busy weekend.
